Hin-rad waterfall, Rad-wanorn waterfall and Na-muang waterfall are far from Na-thon port 3 kms, 6 kms, and 14 kms respectively. All of them are very popular for tourists to visit during the rainy season that has a plenty of water.In addition,the water supply sanitary also bring water from Hin-rad waterfall to purify for the consumption of people in Na-thon and surrounded areas. Koh Than is located at Moo 2 of Taling-Ngarm Sub-District in the South of Koh Samui.This white sand Island can make tourists feel transquility. The line of coconut trees and long beach in the East of Island are parallel to the coastal coral reefs line which called Oak Bay. In the west is a close bay with a small area of swamp. Hin beach which is called Tok Bay. There are several beliefs concerning the Island, saying that, it is a holy Island and there are no dogs. This phenomenon can be scientificly explained that Koh Than has sound wave, magnetic field or some infections that may be dangerous to dogs on this Island. Therefore, people do not dare to bring dogs to this Island. Additionally, Other Islands near by Koh-Than such as Koh-Modsoom and Koh Moddaeng, have beautiful coral reefs line that people can take snorkeling and also have accommodation provided on these Islands. |
